Michigan QB Davis Warren has torn ACL

Michigan quarterback Davis Warren tore his right ACL in the ReliaQuest Bowl on New Year’s Eve, he disclosed on social media.The Wolverines defeated Alabama 19-13, and Warren was 9-of-12 passing for 73 yards and a touchdown before the injury in the bowl game.Warren, a Southern California native, posted a photo of himself on X on Saturday, showing him relaxing in the sun in a lounge chair, with a thigh-to-ankle brace on his knee visible below his shorts.”Celebrating a win and so proud of the way the boys finished this season! I unfortunately suffered a torn ACL in the bowl game,” he wrote. “Thanks to the Michigan faithful for all the support this season. Can’t wait to battle to be back on the field with my guys in AA (Ann Arbor) and go blue!”Warren joined the Wolverines as a walk-on in 2021 and took a redshirt season. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
