The Kansas City Chiefs placed rookie kicker Spencer Shrader on injured reserve due to a right hamstring injury and signed kicker Matthew Wright to the active roster from the practice squad on Wednesday.Shrader, who will have to miss at least four games, was injured early last week and missed the Chiefs’ 19-17 home win over the Las Vegas Raiders last Friday.He was filling in for starting kicker Harrison Butker, who went on injured reserve with a knee injury on Nov. 14 and is eligible to return after this Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.Shrader, 25, played in two games for the Chiefs and made all three field-goal attempts with a long of 41 yards and all six extra-point attempts. He also appeared in one game apiece for the Indianapolis Colts and New York Jets this season.
