There are many people who either were forced to work from home or volunteered to take a shot at it. There are some positives to working from home, including spending more time with family and less money spent on transportation. But, could there be a downside to all of this? One website has 30 reasons to give.
RANKER.COM has listed the top 30 worst things when you work from home. Here are a few samples from that list.
“All The Distractions”– This I can see. If you have pets, if you try to multi task and something goes wrong with your dishwasher, the television looks more appealing than the zoom meeting you are on. All of those are legit distractions.
“Having to wait for a response to a simple question via e-mail.”– That is a pretty easy one to figure out.
It’s Easy to Put Off Work Until Later in the Week”– That seems to be a huge problem for many. It is like you are back in college and taking an online course. I have plenty of time to do this. Then it becomes a last minute hurry up job.
There are many more reasons, but I like to focus on the positives more than the negative. Either way, you have to make due with what is given to you. Make the best of it and have fun!
